It's been 6 Months Already?!
It's been a very interesting 6 months already and so far besides the lack of sleep in this household we really can't complain! Today David had is 6 month check up. Our little Pooh Bear (you know stout and round) weighs in at 16lbs 13oz (75%) and is 25.5 inches long (25%). Here are some things we have learned as new parents in the last 6 months:
(1) When the baby sleeps - you sleep!
(2) Babies cry a lot!
(3) Everything goes into the mouth!
(4) Babies are a lot of work! You have to:
Feed them:
Change them:
Bathe them:
And make sure they are bundled up for the cold:
(5) They change so fast:
And Last: They just grow up too fast! Before you know it they'll be drinking beer, meeting girls and being way too cool for mom and dad!

Happy Birthday Maddie's Mommy!
Today is Robyn's birthday and so we send you birthday wishes all the way from Philadelphia. I stole this picture from their blog because I think it is a really awesome picture. Hope the one inch of snow and total shutdown of DC didn't ruin your plans!
Jodi Goes to Philadelphia
My cousin Jodi is working outside of Philadelphia for her company for two weeks and was able to come and visit David and me over the weekend. It was cold so we did a driving tour of the city showing her the hospital the Doc works at, my work, Love Park and the Art Museum. Jodi even got to have her very first Cheese Steak Philly style. We took her to Jim's Steaks on South Street. Here are some pictures from our fun weekend.

Big smiles all around!

Mommy, Where do Stacks come from?
Well, Timmy, when a mommy and daddy Stack love each other very much and decide they want to add to their family, they travel down to the local Walmart. There they buy knee length tube socks, a bottle of Imodium for that extra anal retention, Nair (larger bottles for an even less hairy Stack), and a book of Mad Libs to perfect the art of telling a LONG, meaningless, nonsensical story. Then they add a splash of Fresca (or some other girlie drink) and mix it in a large, plastic bag.
Next, Timmy, the magic happens. You let the bag sit in the oven surrounded by old math textbooks and sports illustrated swimsuit pictures. It simmers overnight, and, in the morning, the larvae break forth from the bag and mature into a humanoid stack.
The circle of life.
