Last day in Burlington and we hit up some brunch at The Skinny Pancake before one last adventure on the lake. The Bloody Mary was delicious!
After brunch we checked out of the hotel and headed to the lake to use the paddle boards we borrowed from our friends; the blue algae was gone and so it was safe to be in the water again. However, I learned that paddle boarding on a choppy lake is much different than on a river. Also, unintentionally, I can cross off swimming in Lake Champlain off my bucket list. 🤦🏻♀️😂
This was such a nice getaway, we really enjoyed Burlington. We were able to walk to almost all of our destinations. We ate some really good food and had some really great drinks. I still prefer the ocean to the lake but it was nice to explore a new city!
