I couldn't figure out why Auggie would just sit here and chill all the time. It's such a random spot in our kitchen. Then I realized it was because of the heat vent. He likes the warmth. 😻

Our hotel room heater wasn't working so great so they brought us a space heater. This is not our first rodeo with a hotel room space heater. This happened to us on a trip up north back in 2018.
We headed out to grab some coffee before heading onto our excursion to see Lady Liberty! 🗽

We made it to NYC! This trip was planned pre-COVID. We are so thankful that everyone was healthy!

Tonight was supposed to be his debut at The Palace Theatre but unfortunately too many kids in the cast tested positive for COVID yesterday and therefore it will need to be postponed.
He has worked so hard since being cast in this show and it was such a blow to get this close. Thankfully it's not canceled but it means more crossing our fingers and doing our voodoo chants that he stays healthy so when the show does go on he's able to perform! 🤞🏻
Tears of disappointment were shed in the moment and now he moves on. Auditions for his school musical are today. I'm proud of how resilient he has become but also sad that he has to be so resilient.

Demo Day 3 (upstairs addition before and after part 1)
Servpro back again and the dumpster fire saga continues. They don't really know the extent of the damage behind the kitchen cabinets. We know water damaged the kitchen floor but how much is still unknown at this time and they're not looking forward to tearing out two of our kitchen cabinets to find out and have to consult with the insurance company before they continue demo...🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ If I don't laugh I'll cry. 😂
