Week 29 - weekly update includes our summer staycation fun!

Monday July 17

On our first day of summer staycation we decided to take the boys on a hike.  We chose Mount Major.  It ended up being more challenging than we had anticipated, but we made it to the summit and we were rewarded by a gorgeous view!

On my quest to eat at "best of" restaurants we made the 40 minute trek to have lunch at Tuckaway Tavern!  It was as good as I hoped it would be, I especially loved the market and would love if they decided to open a second location nearby!

Thursday July 20

Took the boys to their first game at Fenway Park!  It was ridiculously hot, but the kids had a blast and were so excited to find out they were able to run the bases after the game!

Friday night we headed to NJ to spend the weekend with friends!  The kids had a blast swimming and playing back yard baseball!  The slide was the big hit though!

Saturday July 15th

My annual photography workshop at the Farm!  My favorite part of the day was another opportunity to photograph fellow SOPHA member portraying Maj. Loammi Baldwin!  This year I captured the fireball from both ends of the gun!

A little history lesson before the shoot!

FIREBALL!
I enjoyed all the set ups throughout the day but the food photography is probably one of my favorites!
