This very scrappy newbie pitcher had a great 4 innings in relief today. He finished the 7th strong to keep his team from losing the tie with 3 three strikeouts and a ground out (one of the strikeouts the player reached first on a drop 3rd strike). He is having a blast being a part of this team! @ Oyster River High School

The sweaty face of a mom who left the house at 6:15am this morning and just got home at 8:30pm. Double header baseball in Portland, ME this morning; my nephew's high school graduation celebration cookout, and then more baseball (to watch my nephew's Babe Ruth team). And it was all outdoors in the 90+ degree weather. 🥵🥱😴 #notatoucan #stickaforkinme
On the ride home from Maine today we saw a camper trailer engulfed in flames. So crazy!

Charlie and I did a thing today! 🤪😁 And we managed to not get thrown off, although I thought I might at one point! I have those burpee arms to thank for that!

He's doing a skills and drills clinic but they're doing some scrimmages too! He is a lot rusty but he's ready to do the hard work to get better!

Another Saturday with double header baseball. Love this team! They are scrappy and fun! They won both games this morning! David scored 3 runs and an had 2 RBIs and made a great catch out in RF to end an inning.
David is lucky to have fit right in with this great group of boys from all different towns! ⚾

First Babe Ruth game in the books! They lost but they looked good, made some good plays and David even took the mound for an inning. There will be a learning curve hitting against some big kids who throw hard, but it was a fun game! It's so great to be back at the field with some awesome baseball families! ⚾
And it would not be the start of the baseball season without a trip Arnie's for a post game treat! 🍦

Double header baseball at 9am and 11am. They won the first game and lost the second but had a good rally that came up just short late in the game. David came in relief to pitch in the Bottom of the 6th. It was a 1, 2, 3 inning. Not too shabby! ⚾ @ Oyster River High School

Virtual Rock N Race 5K with the boys this afternoon. 🏃♀️ Charlie mapped our route in the neighborhood and we beat the rain to get it done! I still hate running but I am definitely in better shape than when I ran it last year. 💪🏻
