12M ~ July 2019

Bigs are back for another week of piano fun! And first time for the littlest! 🎹🎢🎡

This guy was so excited for his first year at camp! He's in the same room David was in his first year!

12M ~ March 2019

Excited to check out what one of my favorite families has done with this place! The bowling alley in Concord could learn a thing or two.

Thanks Bowl-O-Rama for helping me keep 6 kiddos entertained today!

After bowling and games, we had dinner at the new pub!

Some Fall Fun

Hard to believe Fall is coming to an end in a couple weeks.  We were crazy busy with all 3 boys playing soccer this year.  So we missed out on some of the Fall Bucket list items I was hoping to do, but I was very happy that we at least got to squeeze in some apple picking!

The boys really enjoyed their soccer games.  Shaun was more into it this year and while he still tends to goof off, he was definitely more focused!  His favorite part was playing in the mock World Cup.  I think his team was Germany.

Look at his focus this year!
This year, Evan was old enough to play and he was so excited to be part of a team.  He was extremely focused and always giving me the thumbs up!  He keeps asking when he gets to play again.

Ready to play!
Go Evan, Go!
David's soccer this year was a little more intense!  He had more games and they were against other school teams.  He had great coaching and learned a lot about soccer he never really knew before.  His team was mostly made up of 4th graders but he held his own and improved so much from the first practice until the last game.  His team went undefeated on the regular season and they won the Jamboree championship game!

Running hard!
He also had the opportunity to play in a Fall Baseball clinic.  It was really great for him to get the opportunity to work on his baseball skills with small groups and then play scrimmages.
Batting practice!
And no fall is complete until you've gone apple picking.  We may have missed out on the Fair this year, but I needed to make sure we got to the orchard!  We headed to one of my favorite places, Applecrest and we even ran into our friends!  It was a perfect fall day!

And of course another fun fall bucket list item, playing in the big pile of leaves!

David's First Ski Trip!

Thanks to the 8.5 inches of fresh snow we just got yesterday, and the fact that we're still on school vacation this week we were able to take David skiing today! He's been asking when he could go, but with the lack of good fresh snow, we didn't think it would be as good for his first try.

Daddy helps get the ski boots on his little feet.
Boots...check - helmet...check!  Now all he needs is some skis!
With his instructor, getting comfortable in the skis
Ready for a ride on the magic carpet to the top of the beginners hill.
No turning back now!
While I take some pictures of David, Daddy takes the other two to a snow fort with slides!
Going down the hill, feet in the shape of a pizza as Daddy called it!
A nice gentle snow plow!
Looking good David!
Shaun is King of the hill!
Evan and I had fun sliding on the hill while Daddy took a turn watching David's lesson.
Of course there would be some falls, but overall he did really well and is excited to try again soon!

Bowling!

A few weeks ago, Omi came to visit and we decided to take the boys bowling. I didn't know much about the local bowling alley, but David and Shaun really enjoy it and I thought Evan would get a kick out of trying it out for the first time!

Soccer Superstar

Saturday David started his soccer clinic. While I admit, I am not the biggest soccer fan in the bunch, I was super proud of him. How cute is he in his uniform! I only watched for a little since Shaun and Evan wanted to go play on the playground. But I got to see from a distance and by the looks of these two action shots captured by Daddy, it looks like he had a blast!

I couldn't resist snapping a head shot in his uniform!

Long Island Long Weekend!

As my previous post stated, we spent some of the past long weekend in NY. It was a great time, and the boys loved spending time with G.G. and swimming in the hotel pool. And the icing on the cake was the gorgeous Spring weather!

We arrived on Thursday night and met up for dinner with G.G. and then she came with us back to our hotel to watch the boys go swimming.

Then it was off to bed so the boys could be rested for our fun day at the Bronx Zoo. We woke up early and headed over G.G.'s house for breakfast and then we were off. Since the zoo is still on Winter hours some of the exhibits were closed, but we still had lots to see and the boys had a blast running around. I think their favorite part was the Bug Carousel!

After the zoo we dropped headed back to the hotel for a quick swim and then it was back to G.G.'s for dinner and dessert! We headed back to the hotel for a good night sleep because we would be meeting up with some of the Doc's extended family.

After a lovely brunch (which included NY Bagels - YUM!) with the extended family we packed up the car and headed to Jones Beach. It was a gorgeous sunny day but the ocean breeze kept the temperature in the mid-60's. Shaun and I even walked down to the water and stuck our toes in. It was FREEZING and Shaun didn't really like it very much!

HUGE hole!

Shaun preferred to eat his sand! (I wish I was kidding...sigh!)

Cool Shades!

After the beach we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory for an early dinner. It was so yummy and we were all so full that we ordered our cheesecake to go and headed back to G.G.'s house so the boys could ride their bikes and play outside.

After our dessert we headed back to the hotel for one last swim before checking out in the morning. The boys still talk about missing the pool! Shaun was very sad when we packed up his swim vest.

David's BIG splash!

After a hearty breakfast the Sunday morning, we hugged G.G. goodbye and hit the road home. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to get away before Evan's arrival!
