12M ~ November 2019
Sometimes you walk into your bedroom and find your cat poking his head out of the pile of laundry that you haven't had a chance to put away yet.
Me and the big checking out the Senior One Acts! 🎭. Had a nice dinner beforehand where he actually put his phone away to engage in conversation with his *gasp* mother! 🤣😍

PROJECT 12M ~ December 2018
Last night our little guy got his foot stuck in the step ladder and we found him hanging by his leg. Later that night it became pretty clear that something was wrong with his leg because he wasn't moving and he was using his front paws to drag himself across the carpet (like an army crawl).
I called the vet first thing in the morning and got an appointment to have him seen. He had an xray done and we found that he had a dislocation and fracture of his leg at the growth plate that connects his leg to his hip. The vet recommended a surgery consult and so we headed to the recommended animal hospital over in Portsmouth.
At the animal hospital, we waited in their emergency room for the surgeon to come and consult. When he finally came in he told me that at this time he didn't recommend a surgery because it was a tricky spot and if he could self regulate and modify his movements - he might be better off healing on his own. My instructions were to confine him to a room with no furniture! I wasn't sure how we would make that happen, but we did move them to our upper floor to prevent him from following us around going up and down the stairs. This should be an interesting couple of weeks!

PROJECT 12M ~ October 2018
We brought Remy and Auggie to Evan's class Pet Day. Auggie, as predicted, wanted no part in it and curled up in his crate the whole time. Remy was much more curious and poked his head out of the crate a few times and even let me hold him for a short time before he wanted back in where it was safe! 😻

I Heart Faces ~ Pet Faces
This month the theme over at I Heart Faces Challenge is Pet Faces. My cousin has 2 gorgeous huskies but Moose, seen below, is my favorite! He's a big lovable fur-ball who lets my boys jump on him, sit on him and snuggle with him. He also likes to have his picture taken. Just say "cookie" and he looks right at you!

Project 365 - Day 144
A turtle in our driveway! After putting Evan to bed, David and Shaun headed outside with Daddy to practice some more hitting off the T. I sat down to my computer to load today's image (which was going to be a picture of Evan with frosting on his face!) when David came running inside telling me they found a turtle!
I followed him outside with my camera to see about getting a picture. David told Daddy he wanted a picture of the turtle "to keep for a memory"! And that buddy, is EXACTLY why I do this!
