12M ~ September 2022

Today was insane!  Two shows for Evan, homecoming football game where I worked the concession stand and the bigs played in the band, rushed down to meet Evan and my sister (who stayed with him while I was at the football game) so we could scarf down some food before going to the evening show, while the bigs headed off to the homecoming dance.  I'm glad they sent me some pictures as the Doc was away for Reach the Beach.  It takes a village!

Ode to Scuttle today!🐟

In between show eats!

Evan and his friends with the professionals!

Evan with the actress that played Ariel, she was sooooo amazing!

Evan and the actor that played Sebastian.  He was an awesome mentor to Evan!

Homecoming for the BIGS!  Thankful for friends who take pictures of my kids when I can't be there!  And for selfies!

Evan made his professional debut tonight.  So honored that my kid was able to be a part of this production.  Proud Momma's Ode to Flounder for opening night!

So proud of my fishy! 🐠🤩

Doh!  I denied my symptoms for 2 days and only tested after our company staying with us all tested positive.  Lucky for me it's nice enough to camp out on the covered porch. 🤦‍♀️

Another Fit4acause Bike, Run, Bootcamp (and yoga) Triple Challenge in the books for this family. This event raises money for cancer patients and we Ride, Run and Bootcamp in honor of those who are survivors and those who were taken too soon by this awful disease. 💕

Helmet hair - don't care! 🚴🏻‍♀️
This year, due to heel pain, I opted to only ride. I chose to take the 10 mile route to compensate for the lack of running, but was so wrong to think it would be easier, as the course was nice and hilly! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ But I did it in 66 minutes-ish (I forgot to start my watch right away).
I also cannot officially compare my last year stats because it's a longer ride but I can say that all those Peloton rides must have paid off as I crushed the first hill that has always slowed me down the last two years! #strongenough 💪🏻

12M ~ May 2021

In April I received the very sad news that my beloved 9Round was closing its doors for good. On Friday I did my last workout there ending my time with 386 workouts. I'm so proud of myself!

I spent some time trying to figure out what would be next for me. I needed to find something that would continue the path to fitness that 9Round started me on, that would also check off all the boxes that 9Round did (convenience, classes whenever, strength and cardio, someone telling me exactly what to do and getting rewarded for achievements!) and so I have now jumped on the Peloton bandwagon.

I have been doing double duty workouts since it arrived on May 4th because I wanted to make sure I would love it and I do. But nothing will replace the trainers and people I met at 9Round and I will forever be grateful for my time there! 💪🏻🥊

On to the next challenge! 🚴‍♀️ 17 rides done and counting...

When you get your first hit of the season you get to celebrate with Cherry Jerry in a waffle cone at our favorite! 🍒⚾🍦

1 for 2 with a walk, a single, an RBI and 2 runs. And his team won!

I love any opportunity where I can leave with a cool sticker.🤩 Moderna dose 2 - ✔️
Hooray science!!!! 🎉

Finally got in a Babe Ruth game. It rained. 😒☔And so they only played 4 innings but David is happy any chance he gets to be on the diamond so he didn't care. 🤷🏻‍♀️

He went 1 for 2 with a single and RBI, and faired well defensively too, playing short stop for the first time and pitching 2 innings. His team came out on top 4 to 2.
