Made it to the summit today! So beautiful. You can see for miles, and we had the best conditions we've ever had up at the top here. I have had my fill of skiing, but Charlie and the boys are off to get in some more runs before we head home! I miss my kitties!

The lifts were open for only the lower part of the mountain yesterday, so we did a little skiing in the morning, then spent some time in the arcade and saw Littlefoot in the new movie theater.  Today was a different story!  The summit was still closed, but we were able to get to some slopes on the upper mountain.

It's a brisk 0 degrees here, but at least the wind has subsided and the sun is shining! 🌞⛷️ The conditions on the trails are awesome since no one has been able to ski on them for the last 2 days! Hoping the tram (closed for maintenance) will be open tomorrow so we can get to the summit before we head home.

We hit the road early to head to our next desitanation Jay, VT.  The roads weren't too bad it was the wind that made the trip a little tricky!

When we got to Jay Peak, we checked in and planned to hit the slopes for a bit, however the wind was so bad they ended up closing all the lifts.  It was impressive!

Instead we headed to the Water Park and then to have dinner at one of the restaurants on site.

On our last day of skiing in Canada and I have the lodge to myself! Our friends have headed home and my tired legs are taking a break, so it's just the boys and Charlie hitting the slopes this morning. Trying to get in as much as they can before the big storm that is expected to drop 20-35 centimeters of snow arrives. That is about 8-14 inches for you American folks! 😂 #wheninCanada 🍁

With the pending blizzard coming in Sunday morning, our friends had to pack up and head back home Saturday night.  But we were happy to get one final day of fun before they had to get leave!

Closing night, always so bittersweet!  I am so proud of Shaun and Evan.  They did such an amazing job in their rolls.  I loved that they got to do a scene together!

Evie is ONE!  Today we hosted my SIL, BIL and niece to celebrate her turning ONE back on January 23rd!

Later that night we prepped Shaun's hair for his upcoming roll as Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins, Jr. 

When the director asks if your sons hair can be black for his upcoming school musical, this former thespian decided to go all in with Semi-Permanent Hair dye because the spray color and temp options just didn't cut it! Whatever it takes to be show ready!
