52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 47

Week 47: Movies, Thanksgiving, a Mom & Shaun day, and the start of the Christmas season!

Wednesday November 22nd

Using the day off from school to go see Wonder with the boys!

Thursday November 23rd

Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

Friday November 24th

Today Shaun had an appointment to see a specialist up at DHMC (good news he is totally fine)!  Since I was able to drop the other two off with a friend, I took advantage of the time to have some one on one with the middle child!  We toured the hospital that Dad trained in while at medical school and then had lunch at one of my old favorite places, Ramuntos!

That night it was time to let the Christmas festivaties begin!  The boys began writing out their Christmas lists while we brought all the decorations down from the attic!

Saturday November 25th

Changing up tradition a bit due to our busy schedules and headed to the Derry parade instead of the Salem parade!  After the parade was over we headed over to the town hall where they were offering free Christmas activities!

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 46

Week 46: update includes another swim meet, some snow, and our first parade with the non-profit I work with!

Sunday November 12

Today we got up early and headed north for the boys swim meet.  It was a quick one and the boys always have fun at their meets!

Monday November 13

With Shaun at after school rehearsals for the musical and David still in school, it was just Evan this afternoon to enjoy the pretty afternoon snow flurries!

Saturday November 18

Today we marched in the local Holiday parade to promote Hearts for Kindness!

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 45

Week 45: update includes David's first middle school play and going to see the new Marvel movie, Thor!

Friday November 10th

I went to photograph David in his first middle school play.  He had 4 small rolls, he was a citizen, sloth, a coconut guy and his main roll was the Nun's Priest.  He did a fantastic job in all his rolls, but I busted out laughing for his roll as Sloth.

Saturday November 11th

In the morning we took the boys to see Thor Ragnarok!  And then the family came up to see David in his play.

Week 44: update includes play practices, Halloween and a birthday party!

Sunday October 29

Shaun auditioned for his school play and will be playing a lost boy in Peter Pan, Jr.  He's been listening to the soundtrack nonstop since he got it.

Evan went to a birthday party for a friend and it was a paint party!  Check out his masterpiece!

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 43

Week 43: The boys had their first swim meet with their Fall/Winter team.

Sunday October 22

The blue Dolphins participated in their first meet and the boys swam their hearts out!  Evan and David even won their heats.

Evan won his heat for the 25yd freestyle! His first win at a meet! I've never seen a kid so excited in my life.

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 42

Week 42: This was a busy week with activities, meetings and school events!  But I was able to take some time to chaperone Evan's field trip to the Conservation trails right near his school to learn about the different habitats.

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 41

Week 41: update includes Hollywood Studios, Jedi Training, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, and then back to reality!

Sunday October 8th

Today was just me and the boys until the afternoon so we headed to Hollywood Studios for some Star Wars fun!

While Dad is away, mom and the kids are off to play!

Monday October 9th

We spent the morning at Animal Kingdom and headed straight to Pandora!  It had one of the coolest rides I have ever been on!  After Pandora we did all the attractions we had wanted to hit and then it was time to get back to the resort so we could get for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween!

Tuesday October 10th

We were able to spend a few hours at Epcot before we needed to be on the bus back to the airport!  We fit in Soarin', since we had not had the chance to ride it before.  It was the perfect end to our trip and meant we were able to cross off all of our bucket list items!

All good things come to an end!

Friday October 13th

Back to reality, Evan's school had their annual Walk-A-thon and David went to his first school dance!
