Updates in Pop Culture:

Say Goodbye to Chef, he has quit the kitchen. No more Chocolate Salty Balls.

Issac Hayes the voice of South Park's Chef has quit. His reason - outraged by an episode on Scientology; he said that it went too far. So singing about sucking his chocolate salty balls is OK, but picking on Tom Cruise and his crazy cult is not.

Tomorrow marks the start of the 10th season for the politically charged cartoon about four boys from South Park, CO. You can believe that creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are not going to let a little something like this stop them:

One thing's for certain--the duo appear to have Scientology in their sights after a rerun of "Trapped in the Closet" was yanked from Comedy Central's schedule last week, sparking rumors that, who was caricaturized in the episode, was behind the change in lineup.

Though the actor's camp denied his involvement, Stone and Parker responded to the scheduling change with cryptic words.

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun!" the self-described "servants of the dark lord Xenu" said last week in a statement. "Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies."

Watch the Return of Chef tomorrow night on Comedy Central 9pm.

I heard on the radio that Issac Hayes is a scientologist too btw. Not sure if its true or not though.

I dont ever watch South Park, but I also heard that the writers took out their revenge on The Chef, having him devoured by animals, burned, crap in his pants, etc.
